I had another great quarterly cleaning today. Dr. Castracane was as friendly as ever. I also had my first profile x-ray taken on their new machine. The images were so clear and crisp. Joanne gave me a great and thorough cleaning. I loved the polish at the end. It made my teeth feel so smooth. Can't wait for my next visit!

Have been going to these dentist for about 1 year already. Have seen Dr.Srivastava and Dr Castracane and i do believe now that they are the best dentist i've ever come across to. The staff is beyond wonderful and so is space's atmosphere. Always look forward to see them and for sure my smile looks 100% better.. Extremely happy to have this team in my life!! Recommend them to everyone.... especially to those who have had bad experiences and don't like to visit the dentist office as much,, once you meet these guys your point of view will change forever...

I have been fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Jyoti Srivastava for 15 years. Every healthcare provider should emulate the care and attention she provides to her patients. Moreover, she is not only an excellent dental care provider, but she is an exceptional human being. Her warmth and personality combined with her skill and professionalism make dental visits a pleasure (which, I know, is not how most people describe their experience at the dentist, but then again, they don’t have my dentist). Drs. Srivastava and Castracane also must be commended for their hiring practices, as everyone on their staff is as professional and are as equally warm as they are. I can’t recommend Dr. Srivastava enough.

I had a very hard time finding a dentist in NYC that I both liked and trusted. Dr. Srivastava was the perfect answer to my problem. I've been going to her now for several months and I've received top notch care both from her and from her staff. Dr. Srivastava is extremely capable & very caring. She always takes time with her patients to make sure they understand and are comfortable with any work she needs to do. Her staff is also amazing! They are extremely professional, very responsive, and always polite & friendly. They've been excellent in dealing with insurance claims and accomodating in terms of appointments. I couldn't ask for more from a dentist or an office!

Eastside Dental Medicine makes going to the dentist a pleasure. The moment I met Dr. Srivastava and the very capable staff, I knew I was in the right place. And, I might mention I travel from Bucks County, PA! The great end result of my very extensive implant/prosthodontic treatment was well worth the travel time... and the compliments on my teeth are priceless!

In my opinion, I consider Eastside Dental the best dental practice I've ever known.

I've always been afraid of the dentist, but Dr Srivastava has changed my feelings and put me at ease while sitting in her chair. I have been her patient since the mid 90's and I highly recommend this practice for any dental need.

I've been going to Dr. Srivastava for 15 years, and she's seen me through cleanings, cavities and two pregnancies (which turn out to have quite an impact on your teeth!). She is gracious, thorough, careful and gentle, and has the entire patient in mind. She explains the procedures at every step, and does everything to prevent dental catastrophe instead of just fixing you up and sending you out the door.

Her staff is personal and warm, and I can't imagine anyone taking better care of us!

Dr. Srivastava has been my dentist for almost 2 decades. She is terrific. I've recommended her to everyone. Her work is impeccable, and pain-free. When I was forced in an emergency to see a dentist in another city he actually exclaimed at the exceptional quality of her work. Dr. Srivastava has cared for me through dental trauma (bike crash) and now reconstruction. The staff are smart and caring. Great hygienist, coordinators and assistants.

Dr. Castracane and the team at Eastside Dental Medicine provide excellent dental care. My husband and I have been going there for 3 years.

They are all so friendly and personable, plus very professional.

Dr. Castracane is very skilled and caring. He emphasizes preventative care. When he needs to do reconstructive work, he is excellent.

I recently had a root canal and Dr. Castracane called me every evening for 2-3 days to see how I was doing.

Their new offices are also very modern and tastefully appointed. It makes me feel relaxed and comfortable.

I highly recommend Eastside Dental Medicine!

I've been going to Dr. Srivastava for over 14 years and Dr. Castracane in the last couple of years. I don't even live in the city anymore, and I make the trip in to see them because of a few reasons: they are honest and upfront, they have a great staff that provides great service, and most of all they treat your mouth and teeth with great care. Going to them makes my dentistry experience easy.

For years I dreaded my dental checkups, but then my wife sent me to Eastside Dental and I'm pleased to say that's not the case anymore. Thorough, thoughtful, precise, professional and knowledgeable, I can't imagine there is anyone else around to compete with Dr. Srivastava's know-how. My hygienist Marcela is always careful, swift and painless. The office staff is also as friendly as could be. I can't recommend Eastside more highly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Srivastava's for 15 years. The dentistry is excellent and the entire staff is professional and caring. Dr. Srivastava has always been available for dental emergencies and the office equipment is all hi-tech. Marcella, one of the dental hygienists, is also recommended.

Eastside dental medicine is the best place to go for dental care. I have been a patient there for ten years and I would never go anywhere else. The new office is spectacular! The staff is very friendly and professional. The dentists, Drs. Srivastava and Castracane offer the most modern treatment with cutting edge technology. They possess the rare quality of being extremely knowledgeable and talented yet down to earth and warm. I am always comfortable there. I never wait more than 3 minutes. I am reassured by the cleanliness. The doctors and staff always wear gloves and masks when they work on you. The equipment is all sealed in plastic wrapping to ensure infection control. Dr. Srivastava is very conscientious and compulsive about each treatment she gives; always aiming for perfection. The bottom line is the final dental result which for me has been excellent. I am very happy to get my dental care at Eastside Dental. I recommend them highly.

I have been a patient of Eastside Dental Medicine's since 1994.

In addition to their caring and friendly manner, they have taken excellent care of my teeth.

Dr. Srivastava always explains everything, never rushes me, and has never done unnecessary work on my teeth.

P.S. Their new location makes you feel like your in a spa, not a dentist's office.

I needed an emergency appointment right away and Dr. Castracane agreed to see me on the spot, when my other dentist's office said that it would have to wait until Monday. Not only did Dr. Castracane fix me within the hour, but he also uncovered other poor work from the previous dentist, repaired it all, and now it's perfect! I'm proud to be smiling again.

Dr. C takes the time to explain what he is doing at every step so there are no surprises. He also explains what is wrong and the best way to fix it. It's the best dental care I've ever received.

Equally impressive is the office and the way it's run. It's welcoming, friendly, and extremely professional. If I ever have a question, the entire staff is helpful, knowledgeable and very personable.

I will never stress about going to the dentist ever again.

Going to the dentist is a stressful and sometimes painful experience that many avoid. The hunt for a dentist that makes this painful experience painless isn't an easy task.

I first met Dr. Castracane at a teaching practice downtown. After my first appointment, I knew I found my dentist. He immediately made me feel at ease and it was the first time I received a novacaine shot that didn't hurt. HONEST!

I have since followed him to his private practice when he left that facility. What seperates Dr. Castracane from other dentists is his patience. He explains in detail every procedure and treatment he performs. His priority is what is best for the patient, not his pocket.

When I made the tough decision of getting braces as an adult, his recommendation for an Orthodontist was up to the same standard as he. Every recommendation has been as well.

His staff is warm and lovely. They always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Their advanced technology is perfect for this busy New Yorker. Appt reminders via email and txt keep me on track.

If you have been avoiding the dentist because of painful memories, try Dr. Castracane. You will never have to be afraid again.

It has been a privilege to grow with Dr. Srivastava as her patient for the last 16 years. Dr. Srivastava and her team have always worked with me as my ability to care for my teeth has steadily improved and it's been a pleasure to refer many of my friends and acquaintances numerous times as her office as grown and changed into the beautiful space it is now. Dr. Srivastava embodies the rare ability to scientifically care for the teeth yet also care for the person. I had never experienced a Doctor calling me personally after a procedure to see how I was doing yet this is her normal mode. I have been through many dental implants, root canals, and cosmetic procedures and all were performed well and left aesthetically undetectable.

I have been going to Dr Joyti Srivastava for ten years. I feel as though they are family to me. You are treated so professionally and at the same time everyone their is your friend. I have been very educated about the importance of the health of our teeth and try to pass this on to everyone I know

I can honestly say that the doctors there are so good at all dental procedures that I have never had any discomfort when working on my teeth. I have had eight implants plus keeping up with the health of my teeth. I have even made sure my family had their teeth done at

Dr. Jyoti Srivastava has been my dentist for the last 12 years and continues to provide outstanding dental care services. She is a highly competent dentist and a leader in her specialized field of prosthodontics, maximally leveraging her artistic flair with her dental skills. Over the years, Dr. Srivastava has carried out many different reconstructive procedures on my teeth and the results have always been excellent with the final product looking extraordinarily natural. I am very particularly about my teeth and so it is very important for me to have a dentist in whom I have 100% confidence and Dr. Srivastava is exactly that dentist. She is an academic and takes much pride in keeping up with the latest advances in dentistry and technology.

Dr. Srivastava is a wonderful person with an amazingly colorful and fragrant personality. She employs a highly professional and friendly team of assistants, technicians and office staff, including brilliant oral hygienists.

The dentists, staff, and services at East Side Dental Medicine are fantastic, caring, professional, and personable. They are attentive to both your personal comfort and your overall health. What I find exceptional about their dental care is how well it blends aesthetic concerns with concerns about your whole well-being as a person--going in for an appointment involves discussing and addressing both how bright your smile is and what kind of nutrition and hygiene will help you build strong teeth. Also, their office space is gorgeous and full of natural light. I have referred many people to them over the years, and would never go anywhere else.

These are great dentists-- giving amazing, professional care in a beautiful space. It's like going to a spa for your teeth, but even more importantly, they know exactly how to treat your medical/dental concerns with expertise. I've never been treated so well at a dentist office in my life. I've been doing research on invisalign and finally decided to give it a shot, and they did a fantastic job! I'm so happy I made the leap, and found a great dentist in the process too! If you're thinking about getting this done, come here!
